The surveys on the map may each be clicked to get more information as well as a link to the specific survey. The map may also be controlled using the following buttons.
 | 1. Layers panel – clicking this button will open a list of the available layers. Individual layers may be toggled on and off. In the county survey maps, the names of the individual surveys may be selected to zoom directly to that survey. |
 | 2. Controls – these buttons can be used to see more information about the map, share the map in various ways, or to enter a full screen mode for the map. |
 | 3. Satellite Map – This button can be used to toggle the visibility of satellite imagery behind the other map layers. |
 | 4. Zoom – This button can be used to zoom in and zoom out on the map. |
